Recent L21 Elections:
Good day everyone,
As you will know we held nominations for last month for several positions:
- 2nd Vice President – Accommodations;
- Grievance Chair - Facilities and Recreation; and
- Executive at Large – Political Action / Contracting Out
First, I would like to congratulate Brother Blaine Aspen on this acclamation into the Executive at Large position.
Second, our 2nd Vice President remains vacant.
Third, we had two (2) members let their name stand for the vacant Grievance Chair and it appeared we would have an election. However, one (1) of the members has withdrawn from the election which means I would like to congratulate Sister Leticia Oystrick on her acclamation into the Grievance Chair position.
As with any election, there will be a training and transition period and we are hopeful Sister Oystrick may assume these duties sometime in November.
